Advocacy: Our Conscience--Our Power

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Arts and Arts Education are our conscience and our power. The arts and arts education are not only important -- they are necessary and critical -- for the social, political, economic, cultural, intellectual, technological, and scientific developments and indeed advancements in our communities and in society at large. It is essential that we as artists and educators arm ourselves with research, information, and resources so that we may serve as advocacy leaders and nurture positive, active, and effective environments and conversations about arts, arts education, and arts advocacy. Participants will learn about and receive information regarding how to advocate as an individual and a group for the arts and arts education. Learn how to effectively put your passion and your voice to promote arts and arts education!
