Dance Educators - Youth Leadership and Social Change through Dance
This interactive, experiential workshop will share the work of transcenDANCE, a local non-profit dedicated to guiding youth to transcend barriers, expand ambitions, and creative positive change through dance and performance. The Co-Founder and two Alumni will share best practices for this Creative Youth Development approach, along with leading exercises that give people an experience with movement, supported by other expressive arts, that allow for connection, self-reflection, and community building.
